About The Event

Food Forever is excited to partner with world-renowned chefs, regional change makers, business leaders and scientists for a solutions symposium dedicated to driving positive change in our food system.

Discussions will dive deeper into the challenges and opportunities that food systems are facing when it comes to safeguarding and harnessing the power of agrobiodiversity. Specifically, what is required to sustainably source new nutritious and climate-resilient ingredients and increase availability in local, regional and global value chains.

Participants will also be the first audience for new research findings presented by the Rodale Institute which will use this occasion to launch a new paper which looks at the potential of Regenerative Organic Agriculture to reduce emissions and maximize carbon sequestration in soils - as one solution to the climate crisis.

As part of the FFX Pocono, the digital experience will pay homage to Pocono Raceway’s famous Tricky Triangle (a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains) and showcase why we must race to safeguard the vast diversity of our food crops that we’re losing every day.

Each “turn” of the triangle will feature leaders from food and agriculture and outline solutions to the challenges food systems are facing and actions we all can take to drive positive change. Speakers include changemakers such as Chef Dan Barber (Blue Hill), Birgit Cameron (Patagonia Provisions), Cary Fowler (Former Executive Director, Crop Trust) and others who will dive deeper into the challenges and opportunities that food systems are facing when it comes to safeguarding and harnessing the power of agrobiodiversity. Specifically, what is required to sustainably source new nutritious and climate-resilient ingredients and increase availability in local, regional and global value chains.
